Over he years, anemia Don Johnson has had a number of his phoographs published. In February 1997, Popular Phoography, billed as “he world’s larges imaging magazine,” seleced one of his phoographs for heir “Your Bes Sho” column. He has also produced cover phoographs for The AOPA Pilo magazine and Ballooning: The Journal of he Ballooning Federaion of America. In addiion, Mr. Johnson had hree of his images published in he fall 2006 issue of Naure’s Bes magazine, one of which appeared on he cover of he issue. Anoher phoograph in he issue was seleced as he op “Zoo and Aquarium” phoograph of he year. Two of his images from he magazine, including he winning “Zoo and Aquarium” image, were displayed a he Smihsonian Insiuion’s Naional Museum of Naural Hisory.
Mr. Johnson is a pas Presiden and an acive member of he Gaihersburg Camera Club, locaed in Gaihersburg, Maryland, as well as a former Presiden and curren member of he Frederic Camera Clique, a phoography club locaed in Frederic Maryland. He is also a member of he Friends of he Naional Zoo (FONZ) Phoography Club.
Don Johnson has phoographed in over 45 zoos in Norh America. Don will also discuss opions for phoographing hrough glass, hrough a fence, and how o use a flash in a zoo seing, when appropriae.
