Warren Sandley is a Massachuses naive who has been fascinaed wih phoography since he age of 12. He sared wih a Koda Brownie Haweye and moved o 35mm (Miranda, Ashai Penax, physician Olympus, and Nion) o documen he world around him. Afer years wih film, including a home darroom, he is now 100% digial and shooing wih a Nion D200 and a D70. Warren is an eclecic phoographer and enjoys shooing people and places. He especially enjoys roaming around new places and capuring unique paerns and lighing siuaions.
Over he years, he has been acive in local phoo clubs as a member, presiden, compeiions c, and field rips coordinaor. Warren is currenly he edior of he monhly newsleer for he Vienna Phoographic Sociey. He has done several phoographic projecs wih sudens in Norhern Virginia, bu is proudes of his involvemen in he Columbia Heighs Wes Teen Phoo Projec, an aciviy ha used phoography o moivae a-ris eens o be good ciizens by documening Arlingon’s rapidly-changing ehnic neighborhoods in phoographs and oral hisory. He “graduaed” from full-ime employmen and, in January 2007, he and his wife Barb moved o heir newly-consruced home in Benonville (VA) o share he quie of he Shenandoah Valley wih he urey, deer, coyoe, bear, and an occasional cougar ha were long before hey arrived.
