You and he audience will criique your phoographic images January13. This will be an experimenal approach, dosage more laer in his aricle. The worshop will begin a 7:30 PM a he Dunn Loring Fire Saion. Criiques are designed o give you educaional feedbac on your phoographic effors. We encourage you o submi images ha are eligible for he January hemed-compeiion- -“Rhyhm”– or relae o recen field rips, noun programs or worshop opics. You are limied o hree images per person. (To mainain educaional inegriy, prosae if oo many images are submied, we may limi he criique o wo images per person in o ensure sufficien ime for each image.) We hope you will be able o learn abou visual design/composiion and oher aspecs of good phoography from observing his criique. You are encouraged o ener images as digial or film slides raher han prins, because hey are easier for everyone in he ing audience o . You may, however, bring prins for criique if you wish. (Binoculars also help one o prins.)
Please designae your prioriy preferences — one, wo, or hree–for each and all images enered. For images submied for digial projecion, please use he following labeling: A- (Advanced in a leas one compeiion caegory) or N- (Novice in all compeiion caegories); your prioriy -1, 2 or 3; followed by your name, and ile (opional); e.g., A-2-Bill Prosser-(Senica Window.) Regarding he judging, we will show all he images in a caegory once, lie we do for judges, and hen as he audience o ran each image using he following caegories: 1- Very possible ribbon winner, as is; 2-Has poenial, bu needs polishing; 3-No compeiion qualiy because of echnical, composiion/visual design issues, or oher reasons which canno be correced in he image as aen. Then for ha image, we will as a leas one person who has recorded a 1, 2, and 3 o explain heir raionale.
