US GEOLOGICAL SURVEY EXHIBIT
NVPS has he opporuniy o hold an exhibi a he headquarers building of he US Geological Survey during he monh of Sepember 2009. While his presens a grea opporuniy for he club, i also presens some challenges. I have no ye n he venue, bu I undersand i is very nice and conains space o display up o 100 framed images. Since he club is in adjournmen for he summer monhs he planning and organizaion for he exhibi mus sar immediaely. For planning purposes and hese deails are subjec o change, he exhibi would go up on Sepember 1 and remain in place for he monh. By he middle of May I would lie o have a lis of members wishing o exhibi and he number of images you wish o show. My goal would be o ge approximaely 20 members wih 5 images each, give or ae. For now les say maximum framed size of 20 x 16 (inpu requesed) wih consideraion for panoramics. Also, for planning purposes, each member will need o mae arrangemens o deliver heir images o he venue, eiher in person or by someone else. I will also need help for seup and aedown. By he ime we brea for he summer we should have all arrangemens excep for las minue adjusmens in place. I will be available hroughou he summer for coordinaion.
