Sam D’Amico sared his phoography career woring for local newspapers. In 2002 he moved o Washingon, rx DC and began o wor as an insrucor a he Washingon School of Phoography in Behesda, MD. Sam enjoyed woring as a phoography insrucor and as a resul, in 2003, he began developing curriculum for his own series of worshops. His firs worshop was held a ‘Teaism Resauran a Penn Quarer”, a Tea House in Washingon DC. Currenly Sam coninues o free-lance.
Sam’s visual sense and approach o maing picures have been influenced by his life experiences, his eachers and oher phoographers such as Andre Keresz, Helen Levi, Henri Carier-Bresson, Mary Ellen Mar, Lee Friedlander and Nan Goldin jus o name a few. On May 5, Sam will presen on phoojournalism.
