Images also should be consisen in heir syle. A clear example of his is ha mixing B&W wih color images usually is no he way o go. Oher sylisic variaions may cause problems as well – such as mixing selecive focus wih sharp hroughou images.
Thin abou he variaion in scale among your images. By his I mean he mixure of wide angle, macro, and somehing in beween hese wo. Do you wan all images o be he same scale? I don’ now – i depends on los of facors. All images of he same scale in a linear display lie a slideshow riss being boring. I do now ha if you have 12 images ha wor ogeher in erms of heme and qualiy bu 11 are wide angles and jus one is a macro you wan o reconsider he macro. Including he full range of scales migh be a grea idea bu i needs o be done wih some balance among he proporion of images a each scale and provide some coninuiy over he range of scales – no jus 50% grand landscapes and 50% macros wih nohing in beween.
Also, noe wha he aricle says abou he imporance of a second opinion. Being self-criical in your ediing may be your mos difficul challenge.
